Paris Saint-Germain extended their unbeaten streak in domestic play with a 3-1 win over Olympique de Marseille in the latest Le Classique last weekend.
The match started quietly, but Ousmane Dembele broke the deadlock in the 17th minute. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia headed the ball to Fabian Ruiz, who quickly played a pass through to Dembele.
Though he momentarily lost control, Dembele spun away from an onrushing Gerónimo Rulli and finished calmly from the edge of the box. This goal follows his recent strike against Liverpool at Anfield and successful penalty in the shootout.

On Friday, Sky Sports’ Dougie Critchley listed the top comeback stories of the 2024-25 football season and one player on his list was Dembele.
“Ousmane Dembele: Scored four fewer goals this season in 37 games for PSG as he did in 185 for Barcelona,” Critchley wrote.

Recently, L’Equipe reported that Dembele would be the favorite to win the Ballon d’Or, according to a poll of voters, with 40.9 percent of the votes in favor of the Frenchman.
