Wilson Odobert: The most skillful Spurs player as per Micky van de Ven
It’s been a rough old season for Spurs, but if there’s one positive to take, it’s that we’re slowly seeing the emergence of Wilson Odobert, who’s apparently our most skilful player as per Micky van de Ven.
Injuries have been a nightmare for the lad—34 games missed is an absurd number—but in the little time he’s had on the pitch, he’s already shown why Tottenham splashed €37m on him in August last year.
Van de Ven, who knows a thing or two about speed and skill, has straight-up called Odobert the most skilful player in the squad (via Instagram), and honestly, it’s not hard to see why. The French teenager has that raw, unpredictable flair that defenders absolutely hate.

His brace against AZ Alkmaar in the Europa League showed his finishing ability, while his two assists for France Under-21s against a seriously strong England side proved he’s not just a showboat—he’s got end product too.
Speedster!
Spurs have been crying out for a proper winger who can take on defenders and make something happen out of nothing. Son Heung-min is still world-class, but he’s not getting any younger, and while Dejan Kulusevski is a hard worker, he doesn’t exactly strike fear into full-backs. That’s why Odobert could be a game-changer if he stays fit.
Mikey Moore also backed Van de Ven’s claim that Odobert stands as the most technically gifted player in the team, which is pretty big praise coming from a fellow young talent. With Ange Postecoglou looking to build a side full of pace, dynamism, and fearless attacking football, Odobert could be a major weapon for us next season.

For now, though, he just needs to stay fit. Because if he can put together a solid run of games, we might just have an absolute gem on our hands. Five-star skills on EAFC 25? He might just deserve it.
