One West Ham United player is clearly struggling right now.
Graham Potter was left with a really unbalanced and ageing squad when he took over at West Ham.
And his remit will be to inject some more youth and dynamism into his ranks at the London Stadium this summer.
There are numerous players at West Ham who need to be moved on during the off-season.
Some of the player recruitment overseen by Tim Steidten and Julen Lopetegui before Potter arrived at the club was truly awful.
And one of the players brought into the club last summer is quite obviously very unhappy indeed at the London Stadium right now.
Niclas Fullkrug is clearly unhappy at West Ham
It has been a really difficult first seven months in England for Niclas Fullkrug.
His 2024/25 campaign has been completely ruined by two lengthy spells on the sidelines through separate injuries.
Niclas Fullkrug is said to be so desperate to leave West Ham that he’s prepared to take a pay-cut in order to force through an exit from the London Stadium.
Now the former Borussia Dortmund man has opened up on his struggles with West Ham.
When speaking to Deich Stube, Fullkrug made a candid admission about his debut campaign with the Hammers.

The 32-year-old striker said:
“I’m obviously extremely dissatisfied with my season because I was injured so much. That’s why I basically want to play again.”
I don’t blame Fullkrug for feeling that way – it has been a truly awful season so far for him with the Hammers.
When will Niclas Fullkrug be back from injury for West Ham
The German hasn’t played for the Hammers since Graham Potter’s first game in charge way back on January 10th.
He tore his hamstring during our FA Cup defeat to Aston Villa two-and-a-half months ago.
Now though, Niclas Fullkrug is back in full training, and he should return to action for West Ham after the international break.
The Hammers’ next game is against Wolves at Molineux on April 1st, and I fully expect him to be included in the squad for that match.
