Noni Madueke is attracting interest from Italian giants AC Milan ahead of the summer transfer window according to reports.
Chelsea are set to have another busy summer and it’s believed the Blues are planning to sell seven or eight players to fund moves.
A striker is said to be top priority, whilst it’s thought Chelsea also want to add a centre back and a right footed attacker.
Madueke attracting AC Milan interest
There’s expected to be movement in the wides areas, and there are question marks over the future of Jadon Sancho as the Blues consider whether to pay a £5m penalty fee to send him back to Manchester United.
The situation regarding Mykhailo Mudryk is yet to be resolved, which is why the Blues are said to be in the market for another wide player, whilst Brazilian sensation Estevao Willian will arrive in the summer.
However, Spanish outlet Fichajes have reported AC Milan are plotting a move for Madueke, with the 23-year-old said to be one of their main targets.
The report adds that Chelsea are under no pressure to sell but Milan feel confident they can negotiate a deal for around €40m as they look for a potential Rafael Leao replacement, with the Portugal international’s future unclear.
Madueke has been one of Chelsea’s better performers this season and is the club’s third highest goalscorer in the league with seven goals, behind Nicolas Jackson and Cole Palmer, although it’s been claimed the Blues are open to selling him.
The winger is currently out with a hamstring injury, but is expected to return after the international break and Chelsea have certainly missed him.
Madueke has scored 17 goals and registered seven assists in 74 appearances for the Blues since arriving from PSV Eindhoven in January 2023, and has really developed as a player under Enzo Maresca, whilst he’s set to have a key role to play in the run-in.
