Arsenal are particularly interested in Eintracht Frankfurt striker Hugo Ekitike this summer, according to a report from Germany.
German outlet Bild report that the Premier League’s top clubs have long been watching Eintracht Frankfurt’s Hugo Ekitike, and Arsenal are particularly ‘hot’ on the player’s case.
Bild add that Newcastle United, Liverpool, and Manchester United are also keeping an eye, but it seems the Gunners are pursuing the player with the greatest intent.
The same outlet reports that those in charge at Frankfurt expect the player to leave this summer.

Bild claim Frankfurt want around €80m for the transfer, given Ekitike’s impressive campaign with 19 goals and eight assists in 38 club matches.
The 22-year-old has been playing for the France u21s over the international break, and he scored a hat-trick against the England u21s in their opening March fixture. That’s certainly likely to have drawn some more attention from the Premier League clubs.
RMC reporter Fabrice Hawkins wrote in February that three Premier League clubs were after Ekitike, and Foot Mercato claimed Arsenal were one of the three. At the time, the suggestion was that Frankfurt hoped to wait until 2026 to sell, but perhaps the situation is changing.

This isn’t the first time Arsenal have been linked with Ekitike, with the Gunners also eyeing up a move when the u21 France international was still with Stade Reims in 2022.
Ekitike moved from Reims to PSG that summer, before joining Frankfurt in 2024. A year later, he could be on the move again.
