Chelsea could make Manchester City target Mateo Kovacic available for between £30m and £40m this summer, according to reports in the UK.
The Croatian international has just twelve months left on his contract at Stamford Bridge, and the Blues will need to sell the player to prevent him from leaving for nothing next year.
City, along with Manchester United and Liverpool, have been credited with an interest in Kovacic and fans believe £30m is a reasonable price for the 29-year-old:
We gave them Sterling for 50 mil lmfao this is a bargain

With the likes of Ilkay Gundogan, Kalvin Phillips and, potentially, Bernardo Silva set to leave the Etihad Stadium at the end of the season, City may need to make multiple additions in the middle of the park.
Kovacic is a very talented midfielder and, combined with the fact that he already has five years of experience in English football, he could well turn out to be a decent purchase, especially at the price being quoted.
