Manchester City injury news
As things stand, Manchester City have no injury concerns or suspensions – as such, they can enter the Champions League final with a fully fit squad.
How the teams fared in the semi-finals
Manchester City made a statement in their semi-final encounter, as they destroyed reigning champions Real Madrid by a score of 5-1 over two legs.
The first leg ended at 1-1, despite City controlling most of the play. The second leg, which took place at the Etihad Stadium, was a complete rout – Bernardo Silva scored a brace, which was followed up by goals from Manuel Akanji and Julian Alvarez.
Meanwhile, Inter had to overcome their bitterest rivals, AC Milan, in their respective semi-final. Inter went 2-0 up early on the first leg, thanks to a quickfire double from Edin Dzeko and Henrikh Mkhitaryan. This stunned AC, who failed to find a response in either leg.
The tie was finally put to bed in the second leg, thanks to a powerful near-post drive from Lautaro Martinez. Can La Beneamata repeat these heroics in the final, or will Pep Guardiola’s men simply be too much for them to handle?
