Erling Haaland let everyone know where his loyalties lie after covering up the Manchester United badge on a young fan’s shirt as he posed for a picture.
The Treble-winning Man City striker was filmed back home in his native Norway this week where he was swarmed by a group of young fans desperate to get a snap with the towering star.
In the short clip posted on Twitter by Norwegian outlet TV2 Sport, one young, yet bold, United fan approached Haaland for a picture which hilariously took the 22-year-old by surprise.
After posing for one photo, Haaland asked the cameraman to hold fire for a moment before he grabbed the United badge to completely cover it from view, before asking to continue taking pictures.
Before covering the badge, Haaland could be heard saying: ‘Wait, take the picture now. Take another picture like that.’

Haaland was key in helping City match United’s historic treble-winning season in the last campaign – and he scored a hat-trick against them in a 6-3 victory at the Etihad last October, the first of three wins against their rivals. That included a 2-1 win against them in the FA Cup final.
He has been away on international duty with Norway for the last fortnight, with what has been a mixed bag of results from their last two encounters.
On Tuesday, Haaland scored twice to help his country overcome Cyprus with a 3-1 win in their Euro 2024 qualifier.

It saw Norway get their Euro 2024 qualifying campaign back on track after a shock 2-1 home defeat by Scotland in their previous game – which saw him net a penalty.
The win lifts the Norwegians to third in the five-team group on four points from four matches.
They are behind second-placed Georgia on goal difference while Scotland, who beat them 2-0 on Tuesday, top the group with 12 points from four games.
The two goals for Haaland on Tuesday mean he has now taken his tally for the season to an incredible 56 goals, where he helped City win the Premier League, FA Cup and first ever Champions League all in his first season at the club.
