Man City and Newcastle ‘join Marseille in pursuit of Fulham defender Antonee Robinson’… with the Cottagers slapping a ‘£35million’ price tag on the USMNT star
Premier League giants Newcastle have joined Marseille in the pursuit of Fulham defender Antonee Robinson, with Manchester City and AC Milan also holding previous interest, according to reports.
The 25-year-old has been one of the standout performers in Marco Silva’s side, with it recently reported that Marseille were pursuing a move for the USMNT star.
However, the Ligue 1 side could now face competition as Newcastle have reportedly joined the race for the defender.
As reported by The Evening Standard, Fulham are prepared to sell Robinson for £35million this summer.
Newcastle and Marseille are said to be ‘actively pursuing’ the defender this summer while Man City and AC Milan have previously expressed their interest.

Robinson ‘is refusing to sign a new contract’ and has just one year left on his deal in London, which could see him leave this summer.
The scenario is less than ideal for Silva, who has himself been linked with a departure amid interest from Saudi Arabia.
Furthermore, central defender Tosin Adarabioyo has been heavily linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur as new boss Ange Postecoglou eyes defensive reinforcements.
Willian is also said to be ‘unimpressed’ with Fulham’s one-year contract offer and will weigh up his options while Manor Solomon’s future also remains unknown.
The Israeli is thought to be ready to decide his future when he returns from a holiday in Ibiza, with Spurs also interested.
It remains to be seen as to what the future holds for Robinson and his teammates, but with a £35million price tag on his head, Newcastle and Co. know what they must do if they are serious about moves for the defender.
