Dean Henderson has completed a training session at Man United, despite his future being up in the air.
Manchester United Football Club have to sort out their goalkeeping dilemma sooner rather than later.
The Red Devils allowed David de Gea to walk away for free upon the expiry of his contract, though the Spaniard may end up returning to Manchester. He’s currently weighing up his options.
Another possible route Erik ten Hag could take is Dean Henderson. Talk about the Englishman moving to Nottingham Forest permanently has been pretty strong of late. However, while a deal isn’t complete, there’s still a chance for the Reds.
Now, Henderson has further fuelled the fire despite his uncertain future. He has completed a summer training session with the Reds, posting a photo on Instagram, along with the caption ‘What a way to start the week’…

Now this is pure speculation, but Henderson seems pretty happy in this post, despite recent frustration at United. Is there a genuine chance that he’s had some good news from Ten Hag in regard to staying at the Theatre of Dreams?
With limited funds available, Henderson staying on as the number one should be a real possibility. He’s got the ability and perhaps a season as the out and out first-choice would confirm whether he’s good enough to do this job for the next ten years.
Yes, it would be a gamble, but it’d also allow United to spend the rest of their transfer budget on a striker, rather than having to go big on someone like Onana.
