Man United have finalised their 31-man squad for the US-leg of their pre-season tour, with Erik ten Hag naming a strong party.
Manchester United Football Club have now welcomed some senior players back to pre-season following their extended breaks.
The Old Trafford side were largely working with youth for their opening two friendly games, though Erik ten Hag has now named a super strong side for the main part of the club’s pre-season.
Games against Arsenal, Real Madrid and Dortmund will provide stern tests for these lads, as they look to build up their fitness ahead of the serious stuff starting next month.
Make no mistake about it, Premier League football will return sooner than we all realise, with this squad making up a large chunk of the players we will see in action on a daily basis.
The highlights include new signing Mason Mount, while there’s spots for the likes of Radek Vitek, Kobbie Mainoo, Dan Gore and Omari Forson. It’s clear these are the younger players that Erik ten Hag has the most faith in right now.
We’re welcoming back Marcus Rashford, fresh off his new contract, while the likes of Casemiro, Luke Shaw and Bruno Fernandes will all make their first appearances of the season in these games.
There’s no place for Andre Onana as the deal is not official just yet, though we expect he’ll be linking up with his new teammates soon enough.
