Man United have now officially launched their away kit for the 2023/24 season.
Manchester United released their home kit about a month ago now, with the Red Devils gearing up for the start of the new season.
The away jersey has been hidden away – until now. This morning, Manchester United unveiled their new green away number for the 2023/24 term and it’s certainly different to what we’ve become accustomed to recently.
When I first heard that this was going to be a green strip, I was immediately sceptical. Obviously, this isn’t a colour typically associated with United, particularly when it’s such a dark green.
However, United have offered those traditional club colours of red and white, via the stripes down the jersey. The strip comes complete with Adidas’ trademark ‘Three Stripe’, while the Team Viewer logo remains (for now at least).
Honestly, I like it much more than I was expecting and it definitely looks even more impressive when it’s on a player.

You have to give credit to Adidas for playing it this boldly. This could have backfired and turned into something pretty ugly. Yes, I’m sure this strip has its haters out there, but I reckon more people like it than they initially thought they would.
In the end, it’s not too far away from the leaks Footy Headlines got their hands on a little while ago so credit must go to them and their sources for being bang on the money with this one.
I’d imagine we’ll now see this kit in action over the next couple of games, either against Wrexham in the early hours of Wednesday morning, or Real Madrid at a similar time on Thursday.
Now we wait for the third strip to be revealed…
