Man United are pushing to unveil Rasmus Hojlund as a new signing this weekend with an official announcement.
Manchester United have worked shrewdly in the transfer market so far. Credit where it’s due, the Red Devils have been much-improved in that aspect.
The signings of Andre Onana and Mason Mount offer extra quality, while the need for a new striker still remains – though not for much longer.
Rasmus Hojlund is the name most linked with an Old Trafford switch this summer. The young Dane, who seems to have all the ability in the world, is seemingly keen on making the move happen.
We’ve been given daily updates from Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano. Last night, the Italian was back at it again. He gave us some information on when to expect a formal Hojlund announcement.
He believes United are ‘aiming’ to unveil their third summer signing this weekend. Apparently, the visa work and contract details are ‘being finalised,’ with the club looking to get the number nine in as soon as possible.

The good news is that this feels like just a matter of time now. The two clubs have seemingly agreed upon fees. It’s just a waiting game as these things can take longer than you’d like them to due to the sheer amount of money involved.
Hojlund is someone who comes in with massive pressure on his shoulders. Leading the line for United is not easy at the best of times, though when this club has been starved for goals as they have, that weight becomes even heavier.
I don’t doubt that Hojlund will prove to be an unreal signing, though as fans, we have to be patient. He’ll have poor spells, that’s just the nature of the game, particularly when he’s still so young.
