Man United have announced Rasmus Hojlund as their latest signing.
Manchester United Football Club have been slowly adjusting their squad under Erik ten Hag, with the dressing room now starting to take shape. The Dutchman has spent his fair share of cash, but all the additions look like they’re the real deal.
Today, Old Trafford welcomed their latest hero to the club; Rasmus Hojlund. United confirmed the signing of the young Dane before kick-off against Lens, with the young striker al-smiles, holding his new shirt aloft. As you can see, he’s yet to choose a squad number.
The Red Devils have been crying out for a new number nine for multiple years. It looked like Harry Kane could be the man, though in Hojlund, they’ve got someone who could theoretically lead the line for the next decade.

I’m just super excited to see what this young man has got. As fans, we need to remain patient. It’s not going to be an overnight success story. Instead, he’s going to have off-days purely due to his inexperience and age.
We need to get behind the young Dane who will show flashes of his insane ability, though it’ll be that consistency that’s lacking, at least for a year or so.
The good news is that the signing is now done. Hojlund is here and he can begin working with his new teammates to prove that he deserves to be starting games from minute one. I’d expect to see him eased into things, but let’s just see what happens.
