Andre Onana – Lobbed from the halfway line, but it wasn’t his fault. Looked super comfortable with the ball at feet. Made one save of note. 6/10
Diogo Dalot – The RC Lens goal was his mistake after a pretty shocking ball across the back. Improved in the second half. 5/10
Raphael Varane – Had a pretty composed outing. Made some important tackles. Involved in a clash in the second half. 6/10
Lisandro Martinez – Defended on the front foot. Played aggressively as per usual. 6/10
Luke Shaw – Tried to get forward, but wasn’t as effective in that department as we’ve become accustomed to. 5/10
Casemiro – Made some unreal tackles in the first half. Looked at it from minute one. 7/10
Mason Mount – Missed a glorious opportunity after a free-flowing move. Was good in the pressing game and got United moving in the right direction. 5/10
Bruno Fernandes – Was pulling the strings from the get-go. Set the captain’s example by working hard and leading the press. 7/10
Antony – Grabbed a goal and an assist. His pass into Rashford for the leveller was nothing short of superb. 7/10
Alejandro Garnacho – Looked lively. United’s biggest threat for large periods. Picked up an assist for the second goal with some lovely play. 7/10
Marcus Rashford – Scored one with a deflected finish after a quiet first half. Grew into the game and looked sharp as the confidence level increased. 7/10
