Lisandro Martinez has eased injury fears, as he featured in training for Argentina.
Manchester United Football Club have had a tough time of it on the injury front to start this campaign. Erik ten Hag has contended with major treatment table woes in practically every position.
The culmination was Jonny Evans partnering Harry Maguire at centre-half to end the game at Arsenal at the weekend. It was a pretty sad sight.
Earlier on in that game, Lisandro Martinez had to be taken off due to injury. The Argentine went down, signalling that he’d have to be substituted as he was unable to continue.
After the game, the reports suggested that the problem actually wasn’t too serious – which was obviously great to hear.
Now, the important united player continues to ease those injury fears, as he was pictured, all-smiles, in national team training no less than a few days later.

While it’s good to see Licha back out there, this is the second time already this season where he’s had to come off with injury.
Whether it’s now a mental thing, or he’s actually hurting, it’s not good either way. Starting the campaign with niggling injuries can be difficult to recover from, particularly as the games start to come thick and fast.
In an ideal world, Martinez will not play two full 90-minute matches for his country during this international break. Let’s hope their coaching staff approach the situation cautiously, rather than further running Licha into the ground.
Hopefully, it’s just a coincidence that he has been struggling to start the campaign and the worst is now behind him.
