Our predicted MUFC XI for the Premier League away game vs Burnley is now in…
Manchester United have lost three games in a row, with Erik ten Hag no doubt feeling the pressure. The Red Devils boss is desperate for a win and with games coming thick and fast, he’ll get plenty of opportunity.
Next up, Burnley away on Saturday. Vincent Kompany’s men have made a poor start to life back in the Premier League, searching for their first win. Turf Moor will no doubt be rocking as they’ll have a genuine shot at continuing to pile the misery on United.
When all is said and done, this is a game you’d expect the Red Devils to win under any circumstance. That said, games are not played on paper and United will have to turn up and earn a much-needed three points.
After much deliberation, our predicted starting line-up for the encounter is now in.
Check out our predicted MUFC XI for the Premier League away game vs Burnley in full here:
Andre Onana is still obviously the undisputed number one, despite his mistake on Wednesday night. No doubt the away support will get right behind him here.
Diogo Dalot remains the only fit right-back at the club so his inclusion is a given, while Sergio Reguilon is in a similar position over on the left. Lisandro Martinez and Victor Lindelof will continue at the heart of the back four.
Casemiro needs midfield help, though I don’t believe he’ll get it here. Christian Eriksen will play alongside the Brazil international, with hope that the Dane can put in a better performance. Bruno Fernandes starts in midfield, wearing the armband as per usual.
Rasmus Hojlund has been one of the bright sparks over the last week or so. Let’s hope he can continue to provide the positive momentum. To his right and left respectively is Facundo Pellistri and Marcus Rashford.
