Here are our player ratings as Man United eeked out a 1-0 win over Burnley last night.
Andre Onana – Pretty good with the ball at feet and made some important saves. A good bounce-back performance. 6/10
Diogo Dalot – Steady enough defensively against a Burnley side who play with purpose. 5/10
Victor Lindelof – Coped well in the middle of the defence, winning some important tackles and making some key interceptions. 7/10
Jonny Evans – The comfortable Man of the Match. Wasn’t afraid to be a leader back there, while producing an insane pass for the Bruno goal. Also saw a headed goal ruled out for offside. 8/10
Sergio Reguilon – Played through illness which says a lot about his character. He fought through the ailment to put in a good display on both sides of the ball. 6/10
Casemiro – Looked a little better in this one than he has done to start the season. Made some good tackles. 6/10
Scott McTominay – Not his best display. Gave the ball away constantly at times. Did work hard. 5/10
Hannibal – Superb on his first start. Added real energy and purpose to the midfield and worked hard on both sides of the ball. Very sharp. 7/10
Bruno Fernandes – Scored the winner with a lovely volley. He did drift in and out of the game but he always puts the effort in. 7/10
Marcus Rashford – Found himself in a few positive positions though often made the wrong decision. Was sometimes lazy off the ball. 5/10
Rasmus Hojlund – Worked hard and led the press well. He provides a real focal point for this team. 6/10
Subs:
Raphael Varane – Came on to help see out the game. Made a crucial block late on.
Sofyan Amrabat – Brought on late at left-back for his debut.
