Scott McTominay has been named in another Team of the Week, this time, it’s WhoScored.
Manchester United left it late to overcome Brentford at the weekend, though it was a massive three points that will be a huge lift to the whole dressing room. Let’s hope that after the international break, we start to see some better performances.
Scott McTominay stole the show with his two late goals, showcasing his underrated finishing ability, while propelling his team to victory. As a result of his display, McTominay was first included in the BBC Team of the Week.
Now, the Scotland has completed a TOTW double, this time by being included in the WhoScored statistical side. McTominay scored an 8.03 rating, which is particularly impressive given the fact he did it in just ten minutes off the substitutes bench.

Honestly, it’s a testament to the character of the man. McTominay could have easily left this summer, but instead, he reiterated his desire to stay at the club and fight for his place.
That was his first real opportunity to prove his worth and he did grasp the opportunity with both hands as he scored two insane goals to send Old Trafford absolutely crazy.
This now gives Ten Hag a real decision to make moving forward. McTominay has displayed what he can offer this team and those few goals he can add into the mix could force the manager into giving the Scotland international more minutes, particularly as there has been a lack of goals from elsewhere.
Congratulations, Scott!
