Our confirmed MUFC XI vs Copenhagen is now in, with the Red Devils naming a strong side for this one.
Manchester United have lost both their Champions League games so far this term, with the Red Devils desperate for their first points in Europe’s premier competition. A victory could drag the Old Trafford side back into the mix this evening.
It’s far easier said than done, mind, with Erik ten Hag looking to get one over on Copenhagen, who have a point on the board after a draw with Galatasaray.
You’d like to think that United will be favoured in this encounter, regardless of what side the gaffer names. However, games are never played on paper and it’s up to the lads to give it their absolute all in order to come out on top.
The team news is now in, with United naming a strong side in search of not only a massive three points, but also some added confidence going into the Manchester derby. A convincing win here would do wonders for the whole squad.
Anyway, let’s give you the full run down.

📋 Tonight’s United team, featuring two changes from Saturday…
➡️ @RaphaelVarane and @Sergio_Regui
⬅️ Jonny Evans and @VictorLindelof#MUFC || #UCL— Manchester United (@ManUtd) October 24, 2023
Andre Onana does keep his place in between the sticks, meaning we’re yet to see Altay Bayindir make his Reds bow.
At right-back, we have Diogo Dalot starting after his Man of the Match display over the weekend. His goal was outstanding and much-needed. Over on the left, Sergio Reguilon returns from injury, offering United a natural player in that position. Raphael Varane is another who is returning from the treatment table, with Harry Maguire completing the back four.
Sofyan Amrabat will be tasked with the defensive-midfield role here after Casemiro’s suspension. Scott McTominay deservedly keeps his place in the team after yet another goal, with Bruno Fernandes completing the midfield trio.
Rasmus Hojlund starts against his former team, while his brother is on the bench for the opposition. To his right and left respectively is Antony and Marcus Rashford.
Come on you Reds!
