Aaron Wan-Bissaka is on the road to recovery, with the Englishman now back out on the grass following injury.
Manchester United Football Club’s season has been defined by injuries so far. The Old Trafford side have been dealing with major treatment table woes to some of their key stars. It’s not an excuse, but it is a genuine reason as to why results haven’t been as positive as we’d all have hoped.
Well, the good news is that the club seem to be getting some players back. Kobbie Mainoo is on the mend, though he will not be rushed.
Now, the Daily Mail have provided another injury boost, in regard to Aaron Wan-Bissaka. According to their report, the United defender has taken a ‘major step’ towards returning to full fitness. The Spider is now back in training after six weeks out.
Wan-Bissaka picked up a hamstring injury against Brighton back in mid-September and we haven’t seen him since. Thankfully, Diogo Dalot has done a decent job as the lone right-back available, though the man from Portugal is now going to get that help from his English teammate.
In terms of timeframe, there’s hope that Wan-Bissaka will be available for selection in the next ten days. That could mean the ex-Crystal Palace man will miss the next three, but could be available for the return game against Copenhagen in the Champions League.
Defensively, there aren’t any better full-backs in the world. Wan-Bissaka has also improved his output in the final third since Ten Hag has taken charge, hence why a new contract is in the offing for the full-back.
