Man United have confirmed the great news that Luke Shaw is back in Man United training.
Manchester United have been derailed by injuries. There’s no getting away from that fact. The Red Devils needed some welcome news on that front – and now they have some.
Earlier this week, there were whispers from the mainstream media suggesting that Shaw was back in training and ready to take on Everton this weekend.
Now, United have received the huge boost, with the club confirming that the key man is indeed back in training ahead of the Everton game this weekend.
We have not seen Shaw out on the field since August. He’d suffer a muscle injury against Tottenham Hotspur, which would lead to the Reds bringing in Sergio Reguilon on loan as a stop-gap.
Now, the main man Shaw is back working towards playing again which is a massive boost to our chances. Simply put, United are just an infinitely better team with the left-back in it. He makes us so much more calm and composed down that side of the field.
Chance creation, defensive stability, positional awareness, Shaw has it all. You don’t need me to tell you how good he is. We all already know about that.
Yes, there’s still so many other important figures out missing. The likes of Lisandro Martinez and Casemiro top the bill, but I definitely reckon we’ll improve as soon as Shaw steps back out on that pitch.
Do I think we’ll see him against Everton? Probably not. It just feels way too soon. However, in a couple of weeks, the Southampton academy graduate could be back playing meaningful minutes. It’s big news ahead of the hectic winter schedule.
