Man United are still keen on adding more firepower to the squad, with Dusan Vlahovic a potential target.
Manchester United Football Club have been struggling for goals this season. Their first-choice front three has one league strike between them. Obviously, that’s just not good enough.
The Red Devils could also be about to lose Anthony Martial, who is understandably not too happy about his playing time at present. I would imagine the fans would not be too disappointed if the Frenchman was moved on…
It makes sense, then, to see the Red Devils linked with a move to bring in a new forward, presumably to help ease the burden on Rasmus Hojlund…
90min.com have provided the latest information on Dusan Vlahovic’s future. He’s a player who has been linked with an Old Trafford switch in the past. A keenness on the Reds’ part still remains.
Their report claims that United are still interested in signing the 23-year-old striker, who has had an up and down time with Juventus. He started well, struggled last season but looks back to his best this term.
As things stand, Vlahovic is in contract talks with the Turin-based outfit, with his current deal expiring in 2026. United, along with Arsenal, could look to take advantage of that situation.
There can be no doubt that Vlahovic would add an awful lot of quality to this current playing squad. The man from Serbia is immensely talented. He knows where the back of the net is. He can hold the ball up well, having the ability to bring other teammates into play nicely.
United are said to be ‘maintaining a watching brief’ on Vlahovic, though this strikes me as a deal that would be more likely to happen in the summer, rather than the winter window.
