Our predicted MUFC XI for our game vs Everton is now in.
After a fortnight hiatus, Manchester United return this weekend. Erik ten Hag’s side likely would have asked for an easier game than an Everton side with fire under their belly following their recent point deduction…
The Red Devils’ injuries have been piling up, even during the international break. Facundo Pellistri has picked up a problem while away with Uruguay, while fears about Marcus Rashford and Andre Onana injuries have been eased.
Picking a team for this one proved tough. Jonny Evans is out. Christian Eriksen and Rasmus Hojlund too. Luke Shaw is on the mend but I doubt he’d be thrown straight in at the deep end.
Anyway, let’s give you the full rundown of our predicted team for this massive clash.
Check out our predicted MUFC XI vs Everton in full here:
First up, we have the aforementioned Onana who will keep his place in the team. The talented Altay Bayindir will have to wait for his opportunity.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka starts at right-back after some excellent performances since his return. Sergio Reguilon will play in the left-back position, but for how much longer we do not know given Shaw is edging closer. Victor Lindelof is back after illness, partnering Harry Maguire at the heart of the back four.
United are decimated in midfield. Scott McTominay has looked half-decent of late and he will play, partnering Mason Mount who has been patiently waiting for an opportunity. Bruno Fernandes plays in the #10 role, captaining the side.
Anthony Martial will lead the line here, with the Frenchman another who has had to wait for his chance. To his right is Antony, who desperately needs a goal for his own confidence levels. Over on the left, Marcus Rashford starts. It’s fair to say this front three could offer up a real mixed bag here, but it’s the best we have…
Come on you Reds!
