Man United have received a double boost, as both Rasmus Hojlund and Antony have been deemed fit to return to training ahead of the Galatasaray game.
Manchester United Football Club lost to Galatasaray at home in the Champions League. Tomorrow, the Old Trafford side have a chance at redemption.
Erik ten Hag will not use this an excuse, but I will. Injuries have decimated the playing squad since the season’s start. That has obviously had a negative impact on the situation. However, over the last week or so, both Luke Shaw and Kobbie Mainoo have returned and played well.
Ahead of the away game against the Turkish giants, United have been boosted on the injury front yet again. A duo has returned to the AON Training Complex for training, offering the Reds more depth and quality in two key positions.
Both Rasmus Hojlund and Antony were spotted in today’s session, before the lads fly out for their crunch Champions League game.

Hojlund picked up a hamstring problem against Luton Town just before the international break. It wasn’t deemed serious and this was always the game he was targeting a return. However, I do wonder whether he’s had enough training under the belt to get the nod ahead of Anthony Martial, particularly as the Frenchman played well last time out.
I’d personally expect to see the Dane left on the bench, with a view to giving him a substitute appearance should the Old Trafford side need a goal.
Next up, we have Antony. It’s fair to say the man from Brazil has struggled mightily this season. Off-field issues have not helped. He missed the Everton game over the weekend with a minor problem, though the man from Brazil has more chance at being involved here.
I’d personally hope to see Facundo Pellistri given an opportunity, though in a game of such magnitude, I can fully see why Antony will be entrusted with the start.
Welcome back, lads!
