Our confirmed MUFC XI for the Champions League away game vs Galatasaray is now in.
Manchester United take on Galatasaray in what is a massive Champions League game. Win here and we’re right back in the race to finish in the top two and progress to the knockout stages. Anything other than victory and it’s probably curtains on our European conquest for this season.
The Red Devils will be feeling buoyed after an excellent result over the weekend against Everton, though they will not have Marcus Rashford to call upon here. Erik ten Hag will be forced into that one change, though he was always likely to bring in more experience against this hostile Galatasaray crowd.
Our Turkish opponents shocked us at Old Trafford in our last meeting, so we now know their full capabilities. United will have to be at their absolute best here, in spite of the lack of football that’s going to be played due to the horrendous pitch condition.
Anyway, the team news is now in, so let’s give you the full run down.

Andre Onana keeps his place in the line-up after a pretty good outing against Everton. He is now starting to perform better.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka comes in at right-back in place of Diogo Dalot, while Luke Shaw does remain in the side at left-back. Ten Hag continues with his now customary back two of Victor Lindelof and Harry Maguire. Both are playing well.
Sofyan Amrabat will play at the base here, meaning Kobbie Mainoo will have to settle for a spot on the bench. Scott McTominay has looked good recently so he will get the nod in midfield, as Bruno Fernandes completes that trio.
Rasmus Hojlund is preferred to Anthony Martial here, with the Dane having an excellent record in Europe so far. To his right is Antony, who is back after missing the game at the weekend. Alejandro Garnacho rounds out the side.
