Our confirmed MUFC XI for a tough Premier League away game vs Newcastle United is now in.
Manchester United Football Club did not acquire the result they wanted last time out, though the performance (Onana aside) was pretty good.
Erik ten Hag’s team looked confident on the ball. They created chances. They defended fairly well and the midfield look pretty fluid. Galatasaray capitalised on a couple of errors. Newcastle United will do the same if we’re not on our A-game.
St James’ Park is never an easy place to visit. The lads will have to be ready in pretty grim temperatures this evening. Let’s hope they’re up for the challenge here.
Anyway, the team news is now in and there are some changes that we have to give you the run-down on…

Andre Onana does keep his place in the team. He needs to start well here, in order to get that confidence flowing once again. I don’t doubt his ability and talent. I believe he’ll have a good game.
At right-back, Aaron Wan-Bissaka does start. The Spider is our best right-sided defender and we’re going to need him here. Diogo Dalot shifts over to the left-back position, with Luke Shaw moving into the heart of defence alongside Harry Maguire.
At this moment in time, the midfield pretty much picks itself. Kobbie Mainoo is looking supremely sharp so he has to start, with Scott McTominay starting alongside the young Mancunian. Bruno Fernandes starts and captain’s the team.
Anthony Martial keeps his place in the Premier League XI after what was a productive game last weekend. It is deserved. To his right is Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho is over on the left.
Come on you Reds!
