Our predicted MUFC XI vs Bournemouth for the 2023/24 Premier League home game is now in.
Manchester United were far from perfect on Wednesday, but the effort levels and intensity was there for all to see. It was a breath of fresh air to watch and no doubt Erik ten Hag was happy with the performance levels.
The task now is to keep working that hard and giving their absolute all. A home game against Bournemouth should be considered an excellent chance at three points here, particularly after the confidence will have risen.
For Ten Hag, it’s about keeping the faith in the core group of players that are working well. With that in mind, I would not expect to see the gaffer to ring the changes here, albeit incredibly tempting to do exactly that.
Anyway, enough waffling, let’s give you the full rundown of the likely line-up the gaffer will opt for here.

Andre Onana’s distribution was excellent on Wednesday night. He played with real confidence and made some top saves. He will need to be at his best here again.
Diogo Dalot was good on both sides of the ball at right-back so he will play. Sergio Reguilon definitely offered us something different from the left-back slot in the second half. He should start. Luke Shaw will shift to the heart of defence, with Harry Maguire completing the back four.
Scott McTominay scored twice against Chelsea so dropping him here would be pretty criminal. He will start alongside Sofyan Amrabat, fresh off his best display of the season. Bruno Fernandes completes the midfield trio.
Rasmus Hojlund will lead the line in search of his first Premier League goal. Let’s hope that comes here. To his right is Antony and over on the left is Alejandro Garnacho. Both were excellent on both sides of the ball against Chelsea.
It does mean a spot on the bench for Kobbie Mainoo which is somewhat unfortunate for the young man. He will take his place alongside the likes of Marcus Rashford et al.
