Man United are waiting patiently for offers to come in for Antony, though no concrete approaches have bene made so far.
Manchester United Football Club are set for a huge summer transfer window. Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS will be looking to leave their own stamp on the Red Devils, kicking things off with a positive first window.
The first order of business is to rid of some unwanted players. It seems as though Brazilian winger Antony has fallen into this category after a pretty drab second campaign at Old Trafford.
Now, journalist Rudy Galetti has offered an update on the Brazilian’s future. According to his latest information, United are ‘still waiting’ for offers for the 24-year-old.
As things stand, there have been ‘no concrete’ approaches made so far. To further add to that, Michael Olise is considered a ‘top target’, presumably as a potential replacement for the ex-Ajax man Antony.

We have to be honest here. Antony has not been good. Perhaps it’s the off-field issues he’s dealing with. Maybe he’s just dealing with some confidence issues after a poor run of form.
However, he’s just so one-footed. At this level, you simply cannot get away without having the capability and functionality to work to a decent standard off either foot.
It’s telling that there’s no interest in Antony. I’d be surprised if an elite level club even considers making a move to bring in the winger this summer. They’re seeing what we’re seeing. He’s just not a great footballer.
United are likely to be stuck with Antony, and his big wages, for the foreseeable future.
