Our predicted MUFC XI vs Crystal Palace is now in, with the Red Devils looking to find some form before the FA Cup final.
Manchester United have four league games left to play. No doubt Erik ten Hag is hoping some players can return from injury over that time, with the squad looking like an absolute mess at present.
The Red Devils are missing many key pieces, with the likes of Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford added to the casualty list. Both are major doubts to play here. I’d be surprised if we see them in what is a meaningless game in many aspects. Keep them wrapped up in cotton wool until the cup final.
Visits to Crystal Palace are never easy. United have had to wait for this one, due to the game being televised on Monday Night Football. Ten Hag’s side will be chomping at the bit after a poor run of results.
Anyway, after much deliberation, we’ve drafted up our predicted line-up, which does include one or two surprises.
Check out our predicted MUFC XI vs Crystal Palace in full here:
Andre Onana does play in between the sticks as per usual, with the man from Cameroon looking to put some bad mistakes behind him here.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka is infinitely better on the right-hand side of defence, with Diogo Dalot shifting back over to the left-hand side. Harry Maguire is fit and starting at the heart of defence. Once again alongside Casemiro. This game likely comes a little too soon for Jonny Evans.
Kobbie Mainoo is now among the first names on the team sheet these days, with the young Englishman starting in midfield alongside Christian Eriksen. Mason Mount is given a rare start due to Fernandes’ aforementioned injury.
Rasmus Hojlund will lead the line here, while to his right and left respectively is Antony and Alejandro Garnacho. Let’s hope this front three can conjure up some magic.
