Bayern Munich star Serge Gnabry is well aware that his team will need every opportunity to count on Wednesday against Real Madrid in the Champions League.
For his taste, the Bavarians might have left too many goals on the pitch against Los Blancos last week during the 2-2 draw between the teams last Tuesday.
“We have to take advantage of the scoring chances we create and then kill them,” Gnabry told Sport (as captured by Madrid Universal). “We played a very good game in the first leg, we had many scoring chances and we could have scored one or two more goals. That is a very, very important point for Wednesday.”
Gnabry, who head coach Thomas Tuchel has predicted will score in this tie, could play a key role with so many Bayern Munich players banged up. While it is unclear whether or not Gnabry will start, the Germany international figures to play a key role one way or the other.
