Robert Sanchez went off in the second half against Everton yesterday, apparently hurt by a fairly innocuous looking fall after claiming a high ball.
But after the game, Mauricio Pochettino revealed that the problem had originated against Manchester United in midweek. It was more a case of making it worse in the game today, and clearly it was pretty bad by the latter stages.
Overall it doesn’t sound too severe. If he played despite having the problem it must be pretty minor, and while he clearly aggravated it, we’ve now got a whole week until our next game.
