Jack Harrison felt the small margins proved the difference in denying Everton an impressive victory over Manchester City:
“There’s still a lot of the season. We can only control what we can do. We have to keep going game by game. We have another great opportunity this weekend to try to get some points back, so everyone is going to rest and recover and be ready for that next game.” [EFC]

“It’s completely natural [movement from Onana]. He’s not putting his hand up to save it, he’s literally throwing himself to try to block it for the team and how it is given as a penalty is just bizarre in my world – but then I must be from a different planet because on Saturday the linesman was eight yards away and no decision was made and they look at the screen six times before giving the decision that’s in his ear, then tonight the linesman gives that and he’s 50 yards away. So, go figure, I can’t work it out anymore.”
