Former Premier League star Brenden Aaronson has been banned from driving after being caught speeding in his high-powered Mercedes AMG.
The £24.7million Leeds United midfielder was clocked driving at 37mph in a 30mph zone on March 12 last year.
The 23-year-old was ordered not to drive a vehicle for six months and fined more than £1,000 after racking up 13 points on his licence.
The American, who is currently on loan with German outfit Union Berlin, was caught on the A6040 Knaresborough Road, in Harrogate, North Yorkshire.
Aaronson entered a guilty plea to a further speeding offence at Harrogate Magistrates’ Court yesterday. He did not attend the hearing in person.

He was also ordered to pay a £666 fine, £266 surcharge and £90 in court costs.
Midfielder Aaronson, originally from Medford, New Jersey, signed for Leeds United from Red Bull Salzburg in the summer of 2022 in a £24.7million deal.
The US international scored one goal in 40 appearances across all competitions.
He was sent out on loan to Union Berlin in July last year after his side was relegated from the Premier League at the end of the 2023 season.
He has made just a handful of Bundesliga starts and one in the Champions League for the German club since their campaign began.
