Djed Spence will return to Tottenham Hotspur after Leeds United triggered a break clause to cut short his loan move.
The 23-year-old joined Leeds on a season-long loan in August but saw his time at Elland Road disrupted by injury.
Spence was restricted to seven Championship appearances after being sidelined for over two months with a knee injury.
He has featured as much at left-back as he has in his favoured right-back role following his return from injury in December due to injury to Sam Byram.
A Leeds statement read: “We would like to thank Djed for his efforts whilst at Elland Road and we wish him well for his future career.”
Spence spent last season on loan at Rennes in France and has made just four Premier League appearances for Spurs since joining from Middlesbrough in 2022.
