Dominic Solanke paid tribute to Bournemouth team-mate Jaidon Anthony’s late mother after scoring against Swansea.
Solanke revealed the message ‘RIP Donna’ on his undershirt after scoring Bournemouth’s fifth goal in the first half of their FA Cup tie.
Donna passed away last week and Bournemouth wore black armbands of respect against Liverpool on Sunday.
A statement from Bournemouth last week read: ‘We were devastated to learn of the untimely passing of Jaidon Anthony’s mother earlier this week. Donna was known and loved by many staff and players at AFC Bournemouth.’
Anthony is on loan at Leeds United and was on the bench against Preston on Sunday before coming on as a substitute against Norwich on Wednesday night.

Anthony, 24, spent a decade in Arsenal’s academy before joining Bournemouth in 2016.
He was a key part of the side that got promoted from the Championship in 2021/22 and was a regular as they secured Premier League survival under Gary O’Neil last season.
So far this season, he has played 21 times for promotion-chasing Leeds United.
Daniel Farke’s side are fourth in the Championship and only two points behind second-placed Ipswich, who guard the automatic promotion places.
