Blackburn Rovers are hopeful of signing Liverpool defender Nat Phillips on loan.
The centre-back spent the first half of this season on loan at Celtic but barely featured for the Scottish champions once they had a fully-fit compliment of defenders.

Leeds are also keeping an eye on Phillips, who played a pivotal role for Liverpool in their quest for Champions League qualification during an injury-hit season a few campaigns ago.

The 26-year-old has struggled for game time with Celtic, making only six appearances for a total of 314 minutes.
Phillips was also hardly used during the Glasgow side’s poor Champions League campaign that resulted in them finishing bottom of Group E.
The Reds could send the defender out on his fourth loan spell in five seasons, following short stints with Stuttgart and Bournemouth.
