Burnley have completed the loan signing of Rennes defender Lorenz Assignon on loan until the end of the season.
The 23-year-old right-back is Vincent Kompany‘s second signing on deadline day following the arrival of Max Esteve.
The Clarets have also let go CJ Egan-Riley while Connor Roberts is a target for Leeds.
Assignon has played 60 times for Ligue 1 Rennes and could make his debut for relegation-threatened Burnley against Fulham on Saturday.
He said: ‘I’m really happy, it’s been a long day and it’s been a day of hard decisions but I’m very pleased to be here.
