It is difficult to imagine that Bayern Munich winger Serge Gnabry is not far from 30. However, he has already won plenty of titles in his time at Bayern and been part of a legendary side under his former coach, FC Barcelona manager Hansi Flick.
Per @iMiaSanMia, when Gnabry was asked whether he has the role of passing the [Bayern Munich] gene to younger players, he had the following to say: “Of course you develop a certain maturity, you move forward and take on responsibility, that’s a natural process. I used to be one of the younger ones and was grateful for tips from the older players. Now it’s quite normal for me to pass something on myself, to motivate, to say ‘Don’t do this – do this and this instead’.”

Hopefully, younger players are learning from Gnabry who had a rough time in England at West Bromwich Albion when sent on loan from Arsenal and he chose to return to Germany afterwards. He overcame adversity and became an important player for Bayern Munich.
