Willy Gnonto’s goal proved to be the decider as Leeds beat Bristol City at Ashton Gate.
Chances were few and far between throughout the first half with the best falling to Crycensio Summerville, who was sent through one on one against the keeper only to chip straight at Max O’Leary.
The breakthrough came just after the half-time break when Junior Firpo played a through ball forward that found its way to Gnonto, who took it in his stride into the box before slamming it in.
