One Chelsea player will now be reintegrated into the first team squad and given a chance to impress manager Mauricio Pochettino.
And in fact, according to this report anyway, he will now be given a chance to play for his future at the club and if he does well, he will not be sold in the summer.
EXCLUSIVE! All the transfer deals, plans, and potential ins and outs that Chelsea actively worked on this January and why none of them happened!
According to HITC sources, centre back Trevoh Chalobah will be reintegrated into the first-team set-up and will get the chance to impress the gaffer.
They have also been informed that Chalobah’s performances will dictate whether or not he has a future at Chelsea.
He was always expected to be sold in January but that never happened, and that is probably down to clubs not wanting to sign him after he had been injured all season so far.
But the expectation then moved to him leaving in the summer, but that might not happen now if the above report is true.
It will be interesting to see if he is placed in any upcoming squads and gets minutes, since he has been back in first team training for a while now.
