One football pundit is not hearing it when it comes to one former Chelsea player who is now back playing in the Premier League after a January transfer move.
There was a lot of football played once again over the weekend and there was some pretty decent matches in the Premier League, as there always is.
EXCLUSIVE! Price tag revealed for Chelsea’s summer striker transfer target plus big updates on Victor Osimhen and Viktor Gyokeres!
Tottenham had to fight against Brighton to grab a win there, and West Ham were ‘hammered’ (pun intended) by Arsenal 6-0 in their own back yard.
Timo Werner was loved and hated at Chelsea, a bit like marmite is, but now he has come back to England and is playing for Tottenham, at least on loan for now until the end of the season.
It was a strange move. I don’t think too many Chelsea fans still rate Werner too highly, and former Chelsea striker Tony Cascarino certainly doesn’t rate him.
He was speaking after the weekend’s games and says that Werner is just a predictable player and doesn’t think Spurs fans will be taking too him too much..
Tony Cascarino on Timo Werner:
“He’s so predictable. He gets on the ball, he sticks on the wing and he’s staying there and he’s waiting for the ball. I’d love to know what Tottenham’s fans think because he’s really gone unmentioned about how poor he’s been in those five games.” pic.twitter.com/dfEWGXdCqe
