Mauricio Pochettino has been crying out for “consistency” from his team, and he finally feels he’s got it.
Speaking to the Chelsea TV cameras after the game yesterday, he agreed that he’d seen three good showings in a row – for perhaps the first time this season.
Of course things don’t get any easier now – his side have a week off then take on Liverpool in the Carabao Cup final.
“Now is the moment to keep the good momentum” he insisted. He’s got a big week of preparation ahead, and we’re really curious how he manages it.
