Omari Hutchinson has been enjoying a successful loan spell at Championship high flyers Ipswich town.
The 20 year old joined Chelsea on a free transfer from London rivals Arsenal in the summer of 2022.
The winger has made two appearances for the Blues, one in the Premier League and one in the FA Cup, both of which were from the bench.
Chelsea’s loans haven’t been the most successful this season with Andrey Santos, Cesare Casadei and Diego Moreira all being recalled halfway through their respective loan spells.
However that isn’t the case with Hutchinson who is playing a key role for Ipswich as they look to win promotion to the Premier League.
Ipswich are currently third in the Championship level on points with Leeds United in second and Hutchinson has come up clutch with two really important goals in the last 10 days.
Against West Brom he came off the bench to score an equaliser in the 93rd minute before setting up the opening goal in a convincing 4-0 win over Milwall and doing the same in the 2-1 win over Swansea.
Last night Hutchinson again came off the bench to score a 95th minute winner against Rotherham to move The Tractor Boys level on points with second placed Leeds as the race for promotion looks set to go to the wire.
Hutchinson has made 37 appearances scoring five goals providing five assists across all competitions and Ipswich will need him to continue his good form if they are going to return to the Premier League for the first time since the 2001/2002 season.
