Tottenham Hotspur have expressed keen interest to land former Celta Vigo midfielder Gabri Veiga in the upcoming 2025 transfer intervals, per Spanish publication Fichajes.
The North Londoners have been looking to compound on their midfield options as Daniel Levy looks to add quality and depth in the middle of the park. And given the fact that the 22-year-old is possibly looking to return to Europe, Spurs could be an ideal destination for the highly rated maestro.
Gabri Veiga was subject to aggressive links with a move to the Premier League before he moved to Saudi Arabia as he joined Al-Ahli, and now he is linked with a return to Europe after a short stint in the Saudi Pro League.
The talented Spaniard played some impressive football, showcasing his technical ability and vision in La Liga, and has continued to attract attention from European elites, including Tottenham, who are among those keen to secure his signatures.
Can Gabri Veiga replace Maddison?
Gabri Veiga is a creative outlet who can take up James Madison’s role in Ange Postecoglou’s starting lineup, with the latter being reduced to bits and pieces role off late.
