Axel Disasi’s performance against Man City at the weekend, along with a few other blood and thunder displays through the season, has started to turn him into a bit of a cult figure at Chelsea.
It’s early days, but his big celebrations after tackles and his all action style have endeared him quickly to the fans.
Today he was interviewed ahead of Sunday and his first final for his new team.
“Expect a show,” he said dramatically. We’ve seen a few “shows” from Chelsea this season, not all of them good. But when Axel’s involved, anything’s possible.
