One former Chelsea player has changed his tune on his thoughts on the current Chelsea team, probably like many have in recent weeks.
Personally I am staying grounded and not getting ahead of myself, even though there have been some very clear and positive signs with this group of players within the last few matches.
EXCLUSIVE! What Chelsea’s new recruitment expert will actually be doing at the club and the players he has already scouted (one is on Chelsea’s radar for the summer already).
My memory is not short though, and I remember how bad we were in just a couple of games before that period when we conceded eight goals in two matches to Liverpool and Wolves!
But the signs are there, and the improvements are there, I will not debate that. And Pat Nevin isn’t necessarily wrong with his latest and more positive take compared to what he has been saying about Chelsea all season!
Nevin believes this squad is suddenly beginning to resemble a grown up team!
In words picked up by Chels HQ, Nevin said: “Chelsea have suddenly begun to resemble a grown up team. The maturing process was always going to take a while, but performances against Villa, Palace and City have underlined that Pochettino should lead them to more than mid table mediocrity next season.”
Lets see how the next games go, Pat!
