The season is far from over, there is plenty of time left in the Premier League for clubs to do something and forge some kind of success, even Chelsea.
The Blues are just four points below 7th place in the table with a game in hand of most of the clubs ahead of them after not having a league fixture this weekend.

This was because Mauricio Pochettino’s side were in The League Cup Final against Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool. But unfortunately for Pochettino and his team, it was Klopp’s side that came out on top.
Still, Chelsea remain in The FA Cup still and as I said above, can climb the table if they get some good upcoming results.
That is why the game against Leeds United in The FA Cup later this week has become absolutely huge for Chelsea and the rest of their season if they are to salvage something from it.

Jacobs wrote: “Chelsea now need to pick themselves up and beat Leeds. In fact, they must prioritise trying to win the FA Cup and get Europa League football.
“It’s just a shame because the results, and particularly the performances against Aston Villa and Manchester City, suggested Chelsea had turned a corner. But we still don’t quite know which Chelsea are going to turn out week in week out.”
