Julien Laurens was a pundit on ESPN today, and he couldn’t believe how much Chelsea’s performance dropped off at half time yesterday in their draw against Brentford.
They had been ahead, but soon allowed the home team to turn things around.
“It was like they stayed in the dressing room,” the pundit exclaimed.
It was a repeat of just what we saw in the Carabao Cup final – the Blues were on top, but the end of normal time killed their momentum.
For a manager whose strength is supposed to be motivating players, it’s a real concern.
