Raheem Sterling has revealed that Armando Broja is the quickest team mate he has played with.
Sterling is no slouch himself but put the 22 year old up there with former Manchester City team mate Kyle Walker in terms of speed.
When asked who his fastest team mate was excluding Walker the 29 year old told STATSports: “Leroy Sane or Armando. I reckon Armando is there with Kyle as the quickest.”
Broja came through the academy at Chelsea but hasn’t had much of an impact in the first team with the striker still trying to find his feet following a long term absence with an ACL injury suffered in December 2022.
The Albanian was sent on loan to Fulham for the second half of the season in the January transfer window but so far his time at Craven Cottage hasn’t gone to plan and he has only played 40 minutes across three appearances.
Broja is expected to be sold by Chelsea this summer as the club look to raise money to fund their summer spending for a striker and the Blues have been linked with Victor Osimhen and Benjamin Sesko.
The striker scored two goals for the Blues in the first half of the season with the goals coming against Fulham at Craven Cottage and Preston in the FA Cup at Stamford Bridge.
